Speaking of Coulter, how depressing is it to see the following books on top of the NYT bestseller lists as Hardcover Fiction, Hardcover Non-Fiction, and Hardcover Advice, respectively: The Remnant, more in the Saturday-morning-cartoonish, theologically flawed Left Behind series; Coulter, so fervently committed to writing her book she steadfastly refuses to let pesky facts get in her way, and Self Matters, by the Pez dispenser of empty easy answers, Dr. Phillip McGraw. Sigh.
